VW Jetta Performance Compared with other cars in its class, the Jetta engine is more powerful and offers greater torque. Available engines include: 2.0-Liter R5, 2.5-Liter R5, 2.0 TDI Clean Diesel, and 2.0 TSI. All four engines available come with manual transmission standard, with an automatic transmission option. All Volkswagen Jettas also come with Carefree Maintenance, which includes scheduled maintenance at no charge during the three year/ 36,000 warranty period.

VW Jetta Safety and Security

The Volkswagen Jetta is equipped with the Intelligent Crash Response System. In the event of a crash strong enough to deploy the airbags, the system automatically unlocks all doors, Isolates the battery from the alternator cable, shuts off the HVAC system and all other high-power electrical units, cuts off the fuel supply and turns on the hazard lights. The VW Jetta also features an Electronic Stabilization Program, Anti-lock Brake System, Anti-Slip Regulator and Electronic Differential Lock.
